2nd Call for Papers
Imaging Conference JAPAN 2006
(The former name is Japan Hardcopy)
The Annual Meeting of the Imaging Society of Japan

June 6-8, 2006
Kokuyo Hall, Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan

The “Imaging Conference JAPAN 2006”, annual meeting of the “Imaging Society of Japan”, will be held following the below agenda. Although the meeting’s name has been “Japan Hardcopy” from 1988, our society’s research and development field has recently been enlarged from the original hardcopy technologies to electronic paper and image input technologies. Therefore the name shall be “Imaging Conference Japan” from this year on, thus inviting an even greater variety of contributions and encouraging an even livelier discussion on the general field of imaging.


An Invitation to Authors
Original technical contributions on imaging science and technology are invited.
Suggested topics include those listed under “Proposed program topics”.
Oral presentations are 20 minutes long, including a 5-minute question period.
Interactive presentations will be planned when many papers are applied.
Oral and interactive presentations are considered as being equally important.
Please submit the information requested below via e-mail by February 3, 2006.

  • Paper title
  • Abstract of approximately 200 words.
  • Author name(s), affiliation(s), address, telephone, fax and e-mail.
  • Preferred session assignment
  • Preference (if any) for oral or interactive presentation.
    Preferences will be accommodated whenever possible.
Authors will be notified of acceptance by the end of February, 2006.
Full papers (within 4 pages) must be submitted by March 31, 2006.
(Full papers should send what was printed on PDF (Acrobat Ver.5) and paper.)
